Stop by!

We open our doors for you without a winter break from January to December, Thursday - Sunday. But we are here for you outside business hours, too. Simply contact us!

Opening hours

We are taking the first steps towards our reopening starting on June 3rd, 2021. We will begin with individual tours and overnight stays. Online booking for your tour is now available. You will find all available dates there, from Thursday to Sunday at 1 and 3 p.m. Evidence of vaccination or a daily negative test as well as a mask for mouth and nose are required for the tour. For kids

While mom and dad visit the house on a guided tour, our little guests can discover the house on their own with our "Entdeckerbroschüre" in a playful way. Equipped with pen and paper, they can uncover the bigger and smaller secrets of the "pasta steamer" and in the end even build their own steamship. The brochure is currently only available in German language.

The KuBiMobil!

From now on it is even more comfortable to get to the Schminke House! With the ʻKuBiMobil - area meets cultureʻ you can get financial support for the use of public transportation. Thanks to the new mobility project of the Kulturraum Oberlausitz-Niederschlesien the trip only costs 2 € per person. You can even choose your preferred kind of transportation.
